Emily Pagdin

Emily is a CPA, with 15 years experience in finance, and three years as VP of Finance in a large rapidly growing non-profit in the human services sector. Her experience led her to develop the Leap to Lead framework, to combat the isolation of leadership roles in the space and the lack of sector specific development opportunities.

Emily's experience in the financial leadership space includes having previously co-developed a competency framework for the local finance government sector. That framework has supported training, development and hiring, and has now been fully realized in a year long professional development program called Strategic Financial Leadership.

This is a space she has a lot of passion for and experience in.

What’s with the goat?

The goat is in many of us in the finance non-profit space! Ready to take a leap and sure of our ability to nail the landing. Goats have spirit and determination to burn – and are fun! Really, who doesn’t love a goat. Cabriole is ‘goat leap’ in French. That sounds much nicer for a business name than Goat Leap Leadership, don’t you think?
